Pan-Mass Challenge Gives $30.4 Million to Jimmy Fund
12/05/2009This year, the PMC exceeded its goal and donated $30.4 million to the Jimmy Fund. The PMC's success can be attributed to many sources, but the practice of donating 100% of every rider-raised dollar directly to the Jimmy Fund and their extremely efficient operations before and after the event are just a few of the reasons we're proud to support such a great cause.
Some of the Newburyport and Vineyard Pedicab crew were able to attend the check presentation at The House of Blues in Boston. Not only did the Pan-Mass announce its $30.4 million donation for 2009, but Billy Starr - the PMC's founder - highlighted that over the PMC's 30-year existence, it has donated $270 million to the Jimmy Fund.
